Roosters at Night

On the edge of St Cuthberts Street sits Roosters Cafe, easily one of the most loved cafes in Bedford. Famous for its range of delectable sandwiches, big breakfasts and good coffee. This place is always buzzing with locals and is one of the best places to to watch the world go by.

Roosters is up to something exciting. Still offering up the chilled out cafe vibes by day, they now open in the evening too, with an exciting menu of delicious food and cocktails. The cafe turns in to an elegant bistro, the night time ambience was cosy and inviting.

The menu is well thought out, with modern twists on classics. The starters ranged from juicy chicken satay skewers to beautiful beetroot cured salmon. The chicken schnitzel was delicious, served with fried hens egg, anchovies and a bacon Caesar salad. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the triple cooked beef drippings chips are worth going for all on their own. The menu changes regularly and utilises some of the best local produce too.

An incredibly exciting and welcome addition to Bedford’s dinner scene. Perfect for a date night or an evening with friends!
